In this unconventional advertisement, Hopkins transforms himself into Wrexham's mascot, Wrex the Dragon, for a spot created by Reynolds's Maximum Effort production company.
"To act is to deceive," says Hopkins in the commercial. "But, to become this beast well, that requires a little extra kick."
It moves on to showcase Hopkins in full dragon costume interacting with fans on the field at STok Cae Ras. With a booming voice, he exclaims, "This is what they came to see. They love me! Roar!"

In a humorous twist, Hopkins attributes the birth of the fire-breathing dragon to STōK's cold brew, as he sips from a glass in the locker room during the half-time break.
The actor says: "Ironically it is the cold brew that births the fire-breathing dragon."
The advert culminates with chants of "Wrexham! Wrexham!" in the background as Hopkins is warned that the second half of the game is about to begin.
