West Ham United have struggled this season defensively.
Their fullbacks have been regularly exposed and they have relied heavily on Lukasz Fabianski.
One of the main reasons for this is because they have not been able to find a solid defensive system.
Despite this, though, Issa Diop has been an outstanding player.
The Frenchman posted a picture of training on Thursday.

His teammate Declan Rice was quick to respond with a gushing comment.
It is clear from the comment that Diop has made a big impression on the West Ham squad and has to be considered one of their signings of the season, if not the signing.
It’s hardly surprising that Rice has expressed his admiration for his teammate after he turned in his best performance of the season last Saturday as West Ham became the first team to win at Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium.
The winner was scored by Michail Antonio but it was the French Under-21 defender that excelled, he led the back-line brilliantly and snuffed out numerous attacks, as well as keeping the usually deadly Son Heung-min quiet.
He even found time to go on a charge up the pitch after he had beaten Son to the ball, he waltzed past Victor Wanayama and then pushed the ball past Davinson Sanchez, leaving him one-on-one with Hugo Lloris but he dragged his shot wide of the far post.
The £22m signing from Toulouse has quickly become a fans’ favourite and this man-of-the-match performance against Spurs will only strengthen this feeling in the fan base, as it appears to have done within the squad.
