Earlier in the summer, Alvarez hinted that he could consider moving out of Manchester City in the ongoing summer window due to a lack of opportunities at the club. He comes second in the pecking order behind Erling Haaland in Pep Guardiola's side. Multiple media reports then suggested that Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid had shown interest in signing the striker who still has four years left in his current contract.

Now Mundo Deportivo claims that the striker's agent is all set to travel to Europe this week to hold talks with the Cityzens over his future. It is believed that the reigning English champions could let the player leave only if they get at least €70m (£61m/$75m) as a transfer fee.
