Lots of Everton fans have been lauding the possible exit of Cenk Tosun as Turkish website Sporx have reported that the Merseyside club are continuing to negotiate with Slaven Bilic’s West Bromwich Albion about a permanent transfer or a loan deal.
As per the outlet, a transfer fee would likely be in the region of around €8 million to €10 million, which is the equivalent of roughly between £7.2 million and £9 million.
However, West Brom may face competition from both Besiktas and Fenerbahce for his services,
Tosun has not enjoyed the best of times at Goodison Park, playing in just 51 games across three whole seasons, and having only completing the full 90 minutes in 10 of those matches, according to Transfermarkt.
His goal contribution is not great either for a striker who cost £20.25 million, with a mere 10 strikes in those appearances, a ratio of around one in five (via the website).
Perhaps it is not a surprise then to see these EFC supporters laud the possible exit of the 29-year old on Twitter:
