This new deal for Swanson, who has scored 21 goals in 47 games for the Chicago outfit since joining from Sky Blue FC (now New Jersey/New York Gotham FC) in 2021, means the United States international will reportedly be the highest-paid athlete in the division, earning upwards of $2m over the course of the contract.
WHAT NEXT?
Swanson's side will be back in league action in mid-March when the new 2024 season gets underway. They came bottom of the table last term and they will want to improve on that this time out.
