Former Manchester United, Juventus and France star Paul Pogba is reportedly prioritizing a return to Europe, amid reported interest from MLS side D.C. United.
ESPN reports that the 32-year-old is interested in a future move to MLS, but at the moment, is focused on returning to Europe.
Pogba is of the belief that he can still play at a UEFA Champions League-caliber level, and is aiming to sign with a club competing in the competition. The 2014 FIFA World Cup Young Player of the Tournament believes it will give him the best chance to return to his national team in hopes that manager Didier Deschamps will call his name to represent at the 2026 competition in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
However, the Frenchman is set to consider all offers at the moment, including D.C. United's reported interest.

Pogba has not played competitively for over 20 months, since September 2023, after testing positive for DHEA – a banned substance that raises testosterone levels. Playing for Serie A side Juventus at the time when banned, the Italian anti-doping agency banned Pogba for four years. Claiming he unknowingly took the substance, Pogba appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which reduced his suspension to 18 months, and he was cleared to return to play in March of this year.
Juventus and the 32-year-old agreed to a contract termination last November, making him a free agent. He is now available to sign for whomever he wishes, as long as the two parties come to an agreement.
The report added that in March of this year, Pogba was the subject of interest from both Fiorentina and Marseille, as well as multiple clubs in Spain. He reportedly rejected approaches from Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
ESPN added in its reporting that Pogba, who owns a home in Miami and has been living there since November, has held talks with David Beckham – co-owner of Inter Miami.
