The UFC star is set to win big if his bet comes in and he'll be hoping his good friend can do him a favour. The two superstars have been spotted together recently watchingAnthony Joshua's fight against Otto Wallin together and subsequently comparing watches in Saudi Arabia.

McGregor's bet hasn't impressed fans who were left underwhelmed by Ronaldo's performance in Portugal's 2-1 opening win over Czechia.

Football fan Addiynwa responded on X with the post: "That’s like throwing money in the toilet."

The 21-year-old struck in stoppage time to secure a 2-1 comeback win for Portugal and steal the show from his 39-year-old team-mate Ronaldo.
